Rob, following four years as an officer in military intelligence, began his business career as Regional Director of Recruiting for The Aetna Life and Casualty Company. He was Assistant to the President for The Sun Life Insurance Company of America, with primary responsibility for executive recruiting. In 1974, he entered executive search, cofounding a search practice that initially focused on all aspects of the insurance industry. As a founding partner of Columbia Consulting Group, Rob continues to be a leading resource for that industry and has also completed numerous assignments in financial services, health care, direct marketing, and manufacturing. Rob is a graduate of American University and holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University.
